Quick Summary of my experience with TATA Indicom broadband @ Chennai.
TATA Indicom
broadband (VSNL) guys lost track of money they took from me.
Kept blaming
about non-payment and started to de-activate my connection without prior notice.
Remember I
am a customer who had been using TATA Indicom broadband for a year
now.
Activated the connection Feb
15th 2007
If this is how they treat their
customer who had been using it for a year, forget those new comers. Will be treated next to piece of SHIT.
They have damn good technology
in place and BUNCH of IDIOTS to maintain their backoffice operations.
Another way they cheat customers
is by not giving the downtime credit for usage.
Its like sarkari office...
Working or not you still need to pay the full rent.
Now read my communication to
TATA Indicom broadband and their response.

You guys suck big time!
Shame on you and your stupid
guys at BILLING @ Chennai
I know that None of you
will dare take any responsibility for this HIGHEST act of STUPIDITY.
Because it takes some real guts
to do so. You and you crazy team in Chennai need to growup for it!
GET LOST you bunch of SUCKERS!

I take this as a serious
insult.
I am sure nobody in TATA pays
my bill.
It is my money that I pay for
the services I use from you.
I do not agree that you may
as per your will and wish de-activate ot Activate my connection, that too without any prior notice to me.
You had disconnected my line
without informing me. I had to call and know from the technical guys that my connection is deactivated as
there were payments pending.
Dont you have the basic
courtesy to call on the customer to check if I have made the payments? That too in a situation where you
have engaged a Third party who can seriously spoil your reputation.
And now you send a HIGHLY
IRRITATING COMMUNICATION saying my connection has been active from 16th Feb 2008.
Over that you assume that I
am happily using it?
WHAT KIND OF SENSLESS PEOPLE
ARE YOU?
WHAT DID YOU THINK?..... THAT
I PRACTICE TELEPATHY?...
Do you think I have a
wireless communication between me and the IDIOT in billing who is responsible for de-activating and
activating my connection at his/her own will.
I have been using another
service provider (BSNL BROADBAND) thinking that you are still sitting around trying to trace my payments.
WHO WILL PAY THOSE BILLS NOW?
I want the
intellegent being who had made all these decisions to disconnect, reconnect and send an HIGHLY STUPID,
IRRITATING and EXTREMELY IRRESPONSIBLE communication to call me immediately.

It has been 10 days since a
gentle man had called me after the issue was raised to the 'Appellate Authority"
I do not have a status update
on my account or the complaint that I have official made.
I would like to ask you one
final time, if I may get consideration.
If I do not have a response,
I shall understand that you are willing that I may proceed legally with the consumer protection
court.
I had referred a
friend of mine for TATA Indicom brodband. I had personally paid TWO rents in advance for them too
(ORDER Number 1588526)
I was told that they too have
the same problem that, your billing department keeps saying No bills has been paid.
I wonder why a professional
setup of TATA's is behaving this bad.

Here is a copy of the communication
thats been happening back and forth all this time.
I am totally frustrated about the fact
that the billing department is not even aware of a payment that happened.
And that they dont bother to check if
they have been billing me correctly including the down time credit.
I am sure you will understand the case
if you read from bottom to top.
If not please get in touch with me at
98414 87 666 (I will reachable 24 X 7)
Someone by name JUSTIN reachable at
9281007797 is aware of the case and is helpless.
His justification saying the third
party who receicves online payments from your customers through credit card and net
banking has cheated you is not acceptable and am not bothered about it.
I have never delayed payments despite
the fact that my downtime has been going up.
I tried but cannot avoid saying this.
I VOCIFEROUSLY disagree with your
decisions about disconnecting networks without prior warning to a customer who has been
maintaining a good usage and payment records.
This is HIGHLY FOOLISH on TATA
Indicom's part and is very much a Suicidal attempt.
I hope I will hear from you soon in
this regard.

If you cannot

I WILL NOT PAY
ANY BILLS NEITHER NEED YOUR SERVICE ANYMORE UNTIL YOU PEOPLE IN THE BILLING REALLY

Looks like
the amount has not been adjusted.
While I was
trying to make the online payment this afternoon, this is what I got to see in my

"Your Total
Outstanding amount as per last bill: Rs.2247.24
"
Can you
please help me get it corrected online please?
I have to
break my promise with Justin about making the payments today, until this is
rectified.

My
communication to the lady who called from was very clear and loud
I have
paid my previous bill due on 5th Jan on 13th Jan 2008 only after your billing
department promised to adjust the down time credit in the next bill. The order
number for this payment made is 1612025
Then I
had three different calls from three different people asking me to make the
payment for the same bill again.
For the
February bill that I received contained my previous bill and NO DOWN TIME
CREDIT ADJUSTED.
I
immediately communicated it to you through email and phone that billing is
WRONG and there is a DISCREPANCY IN BILLING.
After
conversing with a MILLION people @ VSNL, a lady called me yesterday i.e; on 7th
Feb 2008.
She
promised to look into all my complaints and revert. She reverted on the same
day asking to give the order number the payment done on 13th Jan 2008.
I sent
you guys a screen shot of all my online payments done ever since you
introduced it.
Then
this morning my line was suspended.
IS THIS
HOW YOU RUN YOUR BUISINESS? WHAT PROFESSIONALISM DO YOU EXHIBIT, WHEN YOU
DECIDE TO DISCONNECT ME FROM YOUR NETWORK WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE OR WARNING FOR A
MISTAKE OF YOURS
I guess
I am not going to pay any bills until my line is restored and an OFFCIAL
APOLOGY SENT TO ME VIA EMAIL FROM ANY RESPONSIBLE SENIOR OFFICERS at VSNL.
